About Silhouette Sarah
Sarah is one of only a handful of Silhouette Artists in the UK & Worldwide. She has been performing this rare art-form since 1999 & has built up a client list including famous actors, artists & royalty. She crafts intricate, one-off silhouette portraits in a matter of seconds, with nothing more than scissors & paper; an extraordinary ice-breaker for any social situation, providing a buzz of interest & an opportunity for guests to chat over their unique keepsakes.
With an extensive background in all types of art, Sarah’s main specialisation was in portraiture throughout college & university academia. Following her BA Hons in Illustration, Sarah worked within a well established art gallery where she discovered the rare art form of Silhouettes first hand. Sarah was instantly transfixed finding she had a natural aptitude for capturing someone’s profile freehand.
This 18th Century artistry entertains & mesmerises guests of all ages, capturing a ‘true to life’ flattering likeness. Sarah’s natural wit & friendly nature adds to the experience for a real ‘Wow Factor’.
